A DZP team has supported Young Poong Electronics in the process of drafting and negotiating a contract to supply inertial navigation systems for the Polish version of the K2 tank.
On 16 June 2026, during the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris, Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne, a company belonging to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, and the South Korean company Young Poong Electronics signed a contract for the supply of OUROS inertial navigation systems for the Polish version of the K2 tank.
The project is yet another example of practical cooperation between the Polish and South Korean defence sectors. It involves not only the supply of specialised technological solutions, but also direct industrial cooperation involving entities engaged in developing the capabilities of the Polish defence industry.
The DZP team advised Young Poong Electronics, a South Korean supplier of electronic solutions and technologies used, inter alia, in the defence sector, throughout the contract conclusion process, from drafting the contract documentation to providing support during the negotiations.
The project was carried out on DZP's part by Tomasz Darowski, Partner and head of the defence and space industry team, and Karolina Kulikowska-Gruszecka, Senior Associate in the IP&TMT Practice.
