DZP’s Tax Practice is a team of tax and legal advisers - specialists with many years’ experience gained in working with Big Four firms. Our team is one of the largest tax teams among law firms in Poland, distinguished on the tax advisory market by its strong specialisation in M&A, restructuring and tax planning. We also advise on tax proceedings and assistance with tax inspections.
We have developed a range of innovative solutions for corporate clients and PE funds for restructuring processes, tax planning and M&A transactions. Thanks to our many years’ experience we have worked out effective tactics for disputes and defence before the tax authorities, achieving measurable success in tax proceedings. We co-operate on a daily basis with private entrepreneurs, advising on how to create optimum tax structures for income derived from various sources, co-operating on transactions involving the sale of companies and other assets, increasing the tax safety of operations and minimising costs.
We have significant experience in providing tax advisory to clients in the infrastructure and energy, pharmaceutical, real estate and financial services and insurance sectors. Our advice to these clients is more effective as we involve the Law Firm’s lawyers specialising in given sectors.
Our clients are both Polish and foreign companies, local authorities and other state authorities and private equity funds. Thanks to our many years’ experience our support does not encompass merely an interpretation of tax law provisions and case law but we also take into account the business context.
