DZP expert Aleksandra Auleytner will take part in two panel discussions on copyright, open-source software and intellectual property risk management in the age of generative AI.
IIPLA 2026 USA, the 30th Intellectual Property Law Conference, will be held on 21–22 September 2026 in Palo Alto. The event will bring together IP lawyers, in-house counsel and business representatives to discuss developments in copyright, patents and trademarks, as well as brand protection, licensing, enforcement and the commercialisation of intellectual property.
Aleksandra Auleytner, Partner and Head of the IP&TMT Practice, will contribute to two sessions:
- Copyright, Open Source & AI: Managing Digital IP Risks in the Age of Generative AI – a discussion on copyright protection and the legal risks arising from the use of generative AI and open-source solutions;
- Generative AI, Deepfakes, Open Source & AI Model IP Risk Management – a session examining deepfakes, AI models and the legal and business implications of using IP-protected content and technologies.
The conference programme reflects the growing impact of artificial intelligence on IP protection and the need for businesses to manage related risks across jurisdictions.
