Standard contractual clauses – need for change

On 4 June 2021, the European Commission adopted a new set of SCC to ensure compliance with new legislation (after the CJEU judgment in the Schrems II case). Consequently, all old SCC must be replaced with new ones by 27 December 2022. In the case of large enterprises, this means hundreds and sometimes thousands of contracts having to be signed in line with the new version!

The Code of Good Practice for the Franchise Market has been adopted

The Code of Good Practice for the Franchise Market (the “Code”) is a joint initiative of franchisees and franchisors as well as industry organisations and experts. A signatory of the Code should adjust its activity to the standards and rules adopted in the Code within six months after subscribing to the Code.

Draft of the new Public Procurement Law
