DZP supports SSE Holding in acquiring explosives manufacturer

At the end of August, the Swiss company SSE Holding Ltd. acquired several civil enterprises belonging to the multinational Orica Limited. The plants acquired are in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. In cooperation with law firms in Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia, DZP provided SSE with support in the Polish part of this international project.

The clients were advised by lawyers in our Corporate and M&A Practice, Julita Zimoch-Tuchołka and Joanna Schubel. According to Daniel Antille, CEO of SSE, the acquisition was perfectly in line with SSE’s long term strategy to be one of the leading actors in Central Europe and it clearly represents a strategic step forward for the group by adding around EUR 45 million in sales. DZP is always willing to participate in such projects, as we are not merely focused on clients carrying out transactions safely in legal terms and but also on the outcome increasing their potential and the scale of their presence on the markets, said Joanna Schubel, who advised on the Polish part of the transaction.
