A team of DZP experts in cooperation with the Dutch law firm AKD has advised Viva Wine Group, a Scandinavian wine group listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Delta Wines, the largest wine importer in the Netherlands.

The transaction marks a strategic step in Viva Wine Group's expansion onto high-growth European markets, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Finland and Norway. The merged group has strengthened its position as a leading wine supplier in Europe and is pursuing ambitious plans for further international growth.

Lawyers from the Corporate and M&A Practice provided comprehensive support in the area of Polish law. The project was supervised by Bartosz Marcinkowski and Sylwia Kuca, and the work, including a due diligence and preparation of the transaction documentation, was carried out by Marcin Kuliński, Hubert Kawałek and Maria Piechota.
