With support from DZP lawyers, a pan-European private capital fund invested in Sereni, a funeral services platform, to drive its growth and expansion across European markets.
DZP experts advised All Seas Capital on its investment in Sereni, a leading funeral services platform operating across Belgium, Germany and Poland.
All Seas Capital is a pan-European private capital fund providing transformational capital solutions to leading founder- and entrepreneur-owned companies. Its investment in Sereni is aimed at supporting the platform’s continued growth through a buy-and-build strategy, as well as further scaling its operations across key European markets.
Sereni is one of the leading consolidators in the funeral services sector in Europe, focused on building a modern, high-quality network of local providers while preserving their individual identity and standards of service.
DZP’s role focused on Polish law aspects of the transaction. The team conducted legal due diligence and supported the preparation of transaction documentation, ensuring smooth execution of the Polish workstream.
The project was carried out in close cooperation with King & Spalding International LLP.
The transaction team from the Corporate and M&A Practice was led by Sylwia Kuca (Partner), Marcin Kuliński (Senior Associate) and Dagmara Kajca-Szydło (Associate).
