PLL LOT succeeds in selling shares in subsidiary

Domański Zakrzewki Palinka provided legal advisory to Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT S.A. on the sale of a block of shares in Casinos Poland sp. z o.o., a company operating on the casino and betting market. In the face of strong market regulation by the administration and the complexities of corporate relations in the company, PLL LOT has been trying to sell the shares for over 15 years.

Our advisory involved full-range legal assistance with, e.g. developing the concept for the procedure to select a buyer, drawing up documentation for the procedure, drawing up purchase contracts (preliminary and final) and ensuring that they complied with strict administrative requirements for the sale of shares in the company. We also negotiated the transaction documentation and supported PLL LOT in obtaining the required corporate consents.
