During the conference, our experts and guests, including Michel Sapin, former Minister of the French Republic, will discuss the impact of proposed EU and national reforms in the area of anti-corruption on the functioning of public and private sector entities, referencing solutions applied in France.

The coming reforms in the area of anti-corruption – at both EU and national level – are likely to have a significant impact on how the public administration and firms operating on a regulated market function. For many organisations, this is a good time to review existing procedures and adapt compliance strategies to the changing legal environment and expectations of the business community.

In response to these challenges, DZP invites you to a conference on current legislative and market trends in the fight against corruption, from the perspective of both the law and business practice.

The event will be a unique opportunity to meet Michel Sapin – former Minister of the French Republic and author of the landmark "Sapin II" law, considered to be one of the key milestones in the modern approach to compliance. The French Ambassador to Poland, Etienne de Poncins, has also announced that he will attend.

During the event, experts from the Regulatory Affairs, Legislation and Compliance PracticeAnna Hlebicka-Józefowicz, Partner, Gniewomir Wycichowski-Kuchta, Senior Associate, and Wiktoria Kuczkowska, Associate and French Desk Coordinator – will present a comprehensive analysis of the upcoming regulations, including:

  • the draft EU Anti-Corruption Directive and its impact on business in Poland,
  • amendments to Polish criminal law concerning liability for corrupt acts,
  • the dismantling of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau and trends in new anti-corruption strategies.

During the meeting, DZP experts will also refer to international experience, citing French models for implementing effective anti-corruption policies.

Additionally, the discussion will cover management liability, whistleblower protection, ESG reporting requirements and the practical functioning of compliance systems in organisations.

The conference is intended for representatives of legal and compliance departments, state-owned companies, entities obliged to provide non-financial reporting, as well as firms operating within French capital groups.
