Kamil Pociecha will join an international panel on the legal structure of new nuclear projects and practical challenges in contract negotiations at INLA Congress 2026.

Delivering new nuclear projects requires a legal framework that connects regulatory requirements with the practical realities of construction. Contract structures, the allocation of responsibilities and risk management are central to turning investment plans into operational facilities.

These issues will be among the topics discussed at the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA) Congress 2026, taking place on 18–22 October in Newport, Wales, under the theme “Powering the Nuclear Future: Law, Investment and the Next Generation”.

Kamil Pociecha, Partner in DZP’s Infrastructure and Energy Practice, will join the panel “Nuclear law in practice: The Legal Anatomy of a Nuclear New Build Project and Practical Issues from Contract Negotiations”. The session will bring together international practitioners to discuss the legal structure of new nuclear projects and the challenges encountered when negotiating project contracts.

Kamil specialises in advising on infrastructure investments and construction contracts, including EPC and EPCM contracts and the FIDIC Conditions of Contract.

The 26th Nuclear Inter Jura Congress will bring together government representatives, regulators, industry specialists, lawyers and academics. Its programme spans nuclear safety and licensing, liability and insurance, investment, new technologies and international cooperation.
