DZP supports Polish startup, authors of Base, breakthrough CRM technology

On 10 September, Zendesk, a technology giant, finalised the purchase of the Polish startup Future Simple. DZP assisted the Polish business. This is a unique transaction on the Polish startup market.

Future Simple is known for its application for sales automation. The CRM system (IT system for sales, customer relationship and productivity management) has gained popularity and financing from one of the largest Venture Capital funds in the Silicon Valley owing to the proposed solutions. The purchaser, Zendesk, is an internet platform dedicated to customer support.

DZP was responsible for supporting Future Simple and the management board of the Polish subsidiary during the transaction. Our assistance included analysing and adjusting transaction documents to Polish requirements and assessing their impact on the operations of the subsidiary. The project was managed by Joanna Wierzejska and Maciej Zajda supported by Jakub Kubalski, Joanna Schubel and Łukasz Górzny. The main adviser in the USA was the Law Firm Winston Strawn.
