What's new at DZP?
In its DZP | Future project aimed at the venture capital and startup market, DZP has advised the University of Warsaw spin-off Smarter Diagnostics on raising financing in the BRIdge Alfa scheme. DZP's support included comprehensive legal assistance with the transaction to the company seeking to raise financing.
Smarter Diagnostics has raised PLN 1.1 million in financing from Aligo Venture Capital, a fund specialising in medtech. With the funds, the company will be able to develop the recently created Smarter Achilles MRI tool to support the work of radiologists, which will reduce the number of diagnostic errors. As highlighted by doctors, the tool is effective in preventive monitoring of the condition of the tendons, enables tracking of the treatment process and personalisation of rehabilitation.
Smarter Diagnostics is a startup originating from the University of Warsaw that is bringing to the market innovative tools and algorithms for medical diagnostics in the field of orthopaedics and sports medicine.
The project was coordinated by Maciej Zajda, DZP | Future project leader, supported by Filip Lisak in the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Practice.
