What's new at DZP?
With the support of DZP, Fox Recykling, a collector and seller of secondary waste has sold 76% of its shares to the Spanish group Sociedad Anonima Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa (Saica). The transaction advisor to the existing owner Fox Recycling was Holon-Translink.
The buyer, Saica Group, is one of the largest European producers of recycled paper used in the production of corrugated board. In addition to manufacturing recycled paper, the Group's activities are based on waste management and environmental services as well as the production of corrugated and flexible packaging.
Our advice covered all stages of the transaction, from assisting Fox Recycling during due diligence, through the preparation of transaction documentation and conducting negotiations, to closing the deal.
On behalf of DZP, the client was advised by Marek Świątkowski, Partner, and Michał Klimowicz, Associate from the Corporate Law and M&A Practice, Joanna Wierzejska, Partner and Co-Head of the Tax Practice, and Daniel Chojnacki, Partner, and Maciej Białek, Senior Associate from the environmental protection team.
