With DZP's support, the Enea Group's Enea Nowa Energia has acquired 100% of shares in the company Farma Wiatrowa Bejsce, which owns a 19.8 MW wind project located in Świętokrzyskie voivodship, from the Swedish company OX2 Holding Poland. The transaction value is in excess of EUR 57 million.
Comprising six turbines, the installation will start operating in the second half of 2025. The wind farm was designed by OX2 and a subsidiary of this RES installation developer will be responsible for building it. The investment is in line with the Development Strategy of the Enea Group, one of the largest energy concerns in Poland, envisioning the dynamic development of renewable energy sources.
“The acquisition of the Bejsce wind farm is yet another RES project developed by the Enea Group in recent weeks. As announced, we have started the process of dynamically increasing our generation potential based on RES, both in photovoltaics and wind. This is our contribution to the transformation of the energy sector, and the Group's special purpose vehicles are implementing further projects for an additional several hundred MW of green energy.” said Paweł Majewski, president of the Enea S.A. management board.
“The Bejsce wind farm, which will soon augment Enea Nowa Energia's assets, is another investment supporting the Enea Group's goal of dynamically developing electricity generation from renewable sources.” stresses Wojciech Gąsowski, vice-president for development of Enea Nowa Energia, acting president of the company's management board.
The estimated annual electricity production from the farm is expected to be around 65 GWh, which will enable around 20,000 households to be supplied.
