DZP experts have supported Ipopema Securities and selling shareholders in an accelerated book-building transaction on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Lawyers from DZP's Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Practice have advised Ipopema Securities and the selling shareholders in an accelerated book-building (ABB - the rapid sale of a large block of shares to a selected group of investors) transaction, providing comprehensive legal support in its implementation. In the transaction, Ipopema Securities acted as investment firm, global coordinator and bookrunner. It took just over two hours to close the book-build and buyers were found for all the offered shares.
In the ABB, the existing majority shareholders sold AB shares representing nearly 19% of the company's share capital, with a total value of approximately PLN 267 million.
AB, listed on the WSE since 2006, is one of the largest and most prominent companies in the IT product and consumer electronics distribution sector in Central and Eastern Europe, achieving annual revenues of approximately PLN 15 billion and operating in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, among other countries.
The advice covered comprehensive regulatory and transaction advice. The work was coordinated by Maciej Zajda and Margarita Kobojek, with partner Magdalena Skowrońska, Maciej Goszczyk and Katarzyna Wójcik also being part of the team.
