On 14-16 October 2021 in Vienna AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) is holding its Construction Dispute Conference. On the second day of the Conference, Katarzyna Kuźma, Partner in Infrastructure & Energy Practice, will be a speaker at a panel entitled “Public Enemies: PPP - do's and don'ts”.
About the conference:
Construction is one of the most litigious industries. When negotiations and alternative dispute resolution attempts fail, the parties, their employees and counsels, judges or arbitrators as well as experts inevitably become the protagonists of cases that quite regularly are characterized by extraordinary complexity both from a factual and legal perspective.
During the seminar will be presented:
- reasons for not resolving construction disputes as part of average court or arbitration cases,
- the sources of many fights between principals and contractors,
- procedural specifics,
- the role of individual protagonists in construction disputes.
The seminar will also provide valuable content not only for dispute lawyers, but also for real estate practitioners, contract lawyers as well as in-house counsels of companies involved in construction projects.
More information on the speakers, the schedule and registration details can be found on AIJA’s website: https://www.aija.org/en/event-detail/599
