Korean investors are increasingly attracted to the CEE region due to its strategic location and numerous compelling factors, including a skilled workforce, competitive costs, and robust infrastructure. The CEE region's potential for growth, particularly in sectors like manufacturing, electromobility, technology, and renewable energy, along with its commitment to green transformation, has piqued investors' interest. It may also play a pivotal role in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Currently there are almost 600 companies with South Korean capital in Poland, solidifying the Republic of Korea as the second-largest non-European investor in the country. South Korean entrepreneurs have actively engaged in greenfield projects in Poland, introducing cutting-edge technologies and leveraging their unique expertise.

The seminar for South Korean companies interested in investing in production plants in the CEE Region, especially Poland, will be held on 24 October at 9:00-12:00 at FKI Tower, 24 Yeoui-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul 150-881. The event is hosted by The Polish Investment and Trade Agency, DZP, Hickey & Partners and Colliers Korea. The Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) and Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) are partners of the event.

During the seminar attendees will learn which major South Korean companies have already invested in CEE, what the key differences are between the countries, labour, incentives and real estate availability and which locations are new hotspots for Korean industrial investments. Furthermore, experts will speak about the most recent infrastructure developments in Poland, attractive new incentive programmes and a step-by-step guide to project implementation.
Our firm will be represented by Katarzyna Kuźma, Partner from Infrastructure and Energy Practice, who will discuss legal aspects of project implementation in production facilities in our region.
