DZP experts Tomasz Darowski and Soo Youn Kim will participate in a seminar for Korean companies from the energy and defence sectors that want to enter the European market.

Taking place in Seoul on 15 September 2026, the event will focus on two sectors that are currently shaping Europe's economic and geopolitical landscape: energy and defence. Speakers will discuss the legal, regulatory and commercial aspects of investing and operating in Europe.

Europe's accelerating energy transition and evolving security landscape are creating new opportunities for businesses seeking to expand across the continent. These developments will be at the center of the seminar European Energy & Defence – Strategic Opportunities for Korean Companies, in which DZP experts Tomasz Darowski, Partner in Insfrastructure and Energy Practice and Head of the defence and space industry team, and Soo Youn Kim, Head of the Korean Desk, will participate on 15 September 2026 in Seoul.

During the event particular attention will be given to renewable energy, battery storage, green hydrogen and infrastructure projects. Participants will also gain insight into the European defence market, including legal frameworks governing market entry, procurement processes and compliance requirements applicable across selected European jurisdictions.

DZP experts will share their experience regarding the Polish market and the broader European regulatory environment. They will highlight key considerations for Korean businesses seeking to develop energy and defence projects in Europe.

The seminar is organised by Yulchon, a full-service law firm headquartered in Seoul.
