Rafał Grochowski joins DZP with his team

We are pleased to announce that, at the beginning of March, Rafał Grochowski joined the group of DZP Partners. Together with his team, he will enhance the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Practice led by Andrzej Foltyn, Partner and Head of Practice, and Magdalena Skowrońska, Partner.

Rafał is a renowned specialist in legal advice on capital markets, infrastructure and energy projects, securities and public companies. He has on many occasions supported Polish and foreign banks in corporate financing and debt issue. He has also advised on numerous real estate lease and leaseback transactions, and corporate debt restructuring.

Together with Rafał, the following lawyers also joined DZP:

• Anna Kuczewska, Senior Associate – specialises in legal advice on transaction banking, with special focus on infrastructure projects. Advises on debt issue transactions in which she represents both financial institutions and issuers. Advises local government authorities and municipal companies on projects involving transport infrastructure, housing, sports and public facilities.
• Martyna Komorniczak, Associate – specialises in legal advice on transaction banking, financial services, capital markets and restructuring. Advises banks, financial institutions, private equity funds, Polish and foreign businesses, institutional investors and local government authorities.
• Joanna Sępkowska, Associate – specialises in legal advice on capital markets, infrastructure and energy projects, natural resources, securities and public companies. Advises Polish and foreign banks, particularly on infrastructure projects and issuance of debt instruments.
• Anna Sienkiewicz, Associate – specialises in advising financial institutions and businesses, particularly on infrastructure project financing. Advises on transactions to finance companies by way of bank loans and debt issues.

The infrastructure financing and debt issue team headed by Rafał specialises in project finance, infrastructure investments in the state and municipal sector, transactions involving private investors and real estate financing.

In recent years, the team has advised on projects such as the financing of airports, public transport, waste and water management facilities, the construction of sports facilities, housing infrastructure and medical centres.
