What's new at DZP?

Current projects.

DZP has advised Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowe "Porty Lotnicze" on its transformation into a joint-stock company named Polskie Porty Lotnicze S.A. PPL's transformation was dictated, inter alia, by the need to adapt PPL's legal form to the size of its operations.

PPL is a leading entity in airport infrastructure, whose assets include Warsaw Chopin Airport, which is the largest airport in Poland and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. PPL is also the parent entity of companies managing airports across Poland, including Kraków Airport, Szczecin-Goleniów, Poznań-Ławica, Rzeszów-Jasionka, MPL Warszawa-Modlin, PL Gdańsk, PL Wrocław, PL Mazury (Szymany), Bydgoszcz-Szwederowo, MPL Katowice-Pyrzowice and Zielona Góra-Babimost.

PPL's commercialisation is in line with standards on the European airport services market.

Our lawyers from the Corporate and M&A PracticeMarek Świątkowski, Partner, Joanna Fasula, Senior Associate (who also acted as coordinator and person responsible for day-to-day relations), and Michał Klimowicz, Associate – advised on all aspects of the transformation. In employment issues, the client was supported by lawyers from the Labour and Social Security Law Practice: Agata Mierzwa, Partner, Justyna Tyc-Brzosko, Senior Associate, and Małgorzata Szwed, Associate, and on tax issues, by tax advisers from the Tax PracticeJoanna Wierzejska, Partner, and Tomasz Leszczewski, Senior Tax Manager.
