Can a legal partner be an expert in my sector?
Salwador Milczanowski joins DZP's Compliance team as Counsel
Salwador is an advocate with 12 years’ professional experience. He specialises in compliance issues and issues relating to the personal liability of management, particularly from the perspective of criminal and tax crime law.
He handles projects involving the prevention of internal fraud and corrupt practices and tools for cooperating with whistleblowers, business risk assessment and management, internal accountability and other compliance issues. He also implements anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing (AML /CFT) requirements in non-financial institutions, and conducts internal audits, investigations and preliminary investigations.
“Salwador joining our Law Firm falls within not only the dynamic development of the compliance team, but also the current market trend. An awareness of the benefits flowing from the implementation of compliance tools is clearly growing among Polish businesses, which has in turn led to a rise in regulations in this area. A good example is the AML/CFT regulations and the upcoming requirements for cooperation with whistleblowers. In the maze of new requirements and new sanctions, competence in managing the risk of the personal liability of management is also particularly important.” says Anna Partyka-Opiela, Partner and head of the DZP compliance team.
